Major League Pickleball 2024 Season Intro And Premier Draft Recap

Forbes.com | After months of uncertainty, the day that fans of Major League Pickleball (MLP) have been waiting for is finally upon us. This week, the two component leagues (Premier and Challenger) will be drafting their teams and assembling the rosters that they will carry for the next three years. This is a big day, and some big financial decisions are upon the owners.

This post will serve as a recap of all the salient news items related to league structure and draft structures, and as a recap of the Premier draft. We’ll follow up with the Challenger draft recap (which is being done with a more conventional snake draft as has been done in years’ past) tomorrow after it has been completed.
